Dinner after Lectures
All AIA members have the opportunity to meet our speakers over dinner. Dinners are typically held at Tomato Head on Market Square in Knoxville, following the lecture, for in-person events. Joining the Archaeological Institute of America
The East Tennessee Society is our local chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America. The AIA is unique in that includes professional archaeologists as well as students and non-professionals. It is made up of members from around the world who share a passion for archaeology.
Join us! Membership is crucial for us to maintain a presence in East Tennessee and continue to fund archaeological lectures and other events. Annual membership is as little as $61 for avocational members and $36 for undergraduate students and includes a subscription to AIA’s award-winning Archaeology magazine. Graduate or undergraduate student members are also eligible for a rebate from our local society.
